Our professional paths crossed on many occasions and Ben was always passionate, knowledgeable, professional and only too willing to help out if he could. His enthusiasm and positive outlook for life was infectious, even more so after the cancer diagnosis, which is truly admirable. A true warrior who will always be fondly remembered. A sad and cruel loss to his family and those at RWE. He will be sadly missed. RIP Ben.

Some of the happiest childhood memories I have building rafts on the river with Ben when living in Penshurst, lashing barrels to pallets and dreaming of taking our raft all the way to the open sea.. never made it further than the bridge 200m away! He was my best friend at school and I’ll never forget his cheeky smile and appetite for adventure! Rest in peace Ben my friend. Xx

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
